Ever get the feeling you’re being hunted in East Village? Maybe it’s because there’s a Predator standing guard outside Tokio7.
Standing at eight-feet tall, the life-size alien is made by Metal Park Company, a New York business. The artist used scrap metal pieces including engine and motorcycle parts to build the beast, according to their website. The piece is covered with a lacquer to prevent rusting in a high humidity environment like New York.
The statute is still listed on the website, priced at $11,000.
However, it is one of a kind and that lone warrior sold - apparently to the consignment shop owner.
The company also has a Darth Vader, also $11,000, but sold.
